Live from the Heart of New York
Monday. September 17 Cortland kicks off the First Lady’s Silda Spitzer’s I Live NY summit with a special event called Live From the Heart of New York. As the gateway to the Finger Lakes, Cortland is at the heart of a creative core home to culture, creative talent and young entrepreneurs. Live from the Heart of New York celebrates Cortland’s dynamic and creative side with five different music venues on Main Street, as well as five different art exhibits tailored to showcase Cortland to the hundreds of young professionals visiting town for the next day’s summit sponsored by First Lady Silda Spitzer at SUNY Cortland.
Ten Bands playing sidewalk venues will fill Main Street with music. Five art venues showcase local creative talent and the whole community is invited to this free evening of activity in historic downtown Cortland.
